Symbolism of Strength
Horses are sometimes used as symbols of strength and power. In Psalm 20:7, the psalmist says, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." Here, horses represent human reliance on worldly might, contrasted with trust in God's protection.
